Taking the time and hassle out of change of tenancies .

With lots of properties to deal with and tenants moving in and out all the time, managing energy contracts can be time consuming. If they’re not done right, they can become costly too. One of our property management companies, CS Properties, had exactly these issues, so our energy specialists stepped in to help.

They were struggling to get through to their suppliers to ensure that problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently and their empty properties were being billed on high out of contract rates. This left the company with high bills and feeling left behind by suppliers.

Our dedicated account managers were able to step in to help with the whole process. The company sent over all relevant move in and out dates along with a Letter of Authority and meter photos and we handled the rest. We were able to identify the relevant suppliers, log their Letter of Authority and initiate their Change of Tenancy. At no disruption to the company, we continued to follow this until the process was complete, ensuring the new tariff was in contract.

When the company expanded to new sites, we were able to arrange for contracts and meters to be set up in a matter of weeks. This process also enabled the company to continue renting out their sites to a paying customer with a fresh account. This helped the company to avoid paying high rates on their contract as well as saving them time. They no longer needed to waste time trying to find new suppliers and waiting for their response.

We were able to streamline their process and take on the stress of this. CS Properties now have one supplier, one start and end date, and one direct debit. Managing this process has helped take the stress out of energy management for CS Properties, helping them get back to focusing on their properties.
