Why choose an EV charging point?
Choosing to fit an EV charging point is a great way to help your business reduce its carbon emissions by reducing your scope one emissions. By switching to an electric car from a diesel car, you can save nearly 200 grams of CO2 per mile. This, in turn, will help to reduce global warming and help your business achieve sustainability targets.
There’s also the added benefit of the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS). This is a voucher-based scheme for businesses to help cover some of the cost of fitting an electric charging point at your site. This can cover up to 75% of the cost with a maximum of £350 for each socket, with up to 40 sockets.
